I like to have my mobile phone with me when I go out. But it is rather a silly phone because if it is in my bag it can call the last number dialed if I rest my hand on it. It is very annoying when it does it as it can use up a lot of credit. It is the second mobile phone that I have ever owned. I like my current phone as it is able to take photos and send them to friends. My old phone was not a camera phone but it had a good facility of one free number. This was great as my university was far from home and so I used my mobile phone to speak to my mum for free. This was wonderful because it saved me from getting a very high phone bill. On intercity trains in my country one carriage is a quiet one where mobile phones are not allowed. This is because lots of them ringing and people chatting loudly can bother some passengers if they want to relax on the journey. I don't know know if lots of mobile phone masts is a healthy thing in my country. You see, everyone from teenage years wants a mobile phone. So I guess mobile phones can be a good or a bad thing.

I think it all depends on how the phone is used. When I don't feel like being interrupted I turn it off, and when I need to reach someone during an emergency, the phone is always there. I prefer to use my phone at my convenience, not at someone else's.
