Meteor Shower

Has anyone seen the meteor shower? Last night was the premo viewing time but of course you can still catch some of the action for a couple of nights. I was out watching the last few nights and it was really spectular! Sat. night along with the meteor's was these really intense flashes of light, I asumed it was heat lighting. Does anyone have any idea what the flashes of light could of been? There were people calling in reporting this strange occurance. Also does anyone know when the next meteor shower will come?

I am from the northeast United States and looked out to try and see the meteor shower but did get a glimps of any of it.I was pretty disappointed actually. I enjoy watching celestial events when I know they are coming.I looked into the northeastern sky as the weather man suggested but never saw a thing. Where are you located that you got to see the events?

Hi! I'm in western N.C., the weather was clear and I live out away from the city lights so I of course was fortunate to get to enjoy the show. Don't feel to bad because I missed a once in a life time event that only occurs every 100 yrs. this particular event happens every year around August, so tune in next yr. Thank you for your response.
