A while ago, I told you all that I was applying for an assistant manager position at work. Well, 14 people applied and got interviewed for the postition. Today they handed out rejection letters to all but the top 3 choices. I did not get a rejection letter, so I am going on to the next round of interviews. This time we get to meet with the big boss. Wish me luck and pray for me, I have been aiming for this position for over a year now, and keep getting so close that I can taste it. Right now it is between me, the guy who recently got demoted (cutbacks and such), and one other guy who has not been there as long as me and the other guy have. I am saying prayers every night to get this. Hopefully they will make a decision by the end of the week.

Well, I believe that Congratulations are in order here because with whatever your hard and soft skills are, your abilities, your personality, you really made the mark, you were one of the chosen ones so that should make you feel great. Don't be anything but flattered because there was something about you that the interviewer really really liked. I think that is fantastic. If you don't get the job, they already had in mind the type of person they wanted to hire, you know what I mean? So, I would think of this as a victory already and would suggest that you step up to the plate, give it all you've got and know that wherever you end up, it was meant to be because wherever that is they will be lucky to have you in their Company because you know in your heart that you have done everything that you were supposed to in order to obtain the position you seek. You won't know you'll have the job until you get it, so why worry, because who knows, you might just get an even better job. Much good luck in your future and you are in my prayers.
