Why metallica is famous?

Because they have the PASSION in their MUSIC.

Defenatly it is one big point songs, rythm, lyrics,riffs so good thats why they are so good.Of course the people too. If there isnt that good guitar they wouldn t be that good

I am also a fan of Metallica. I love their songs most of them. I love their drum beat and the voice of James Hetfield (spelling). Basically, their songs are great that is why they are famous.

Metallica was made famous because their music was unique and no one even came close to being better than metallica. They have great guitar solos in their songs and Kirk Hammett ruled the guitar rock world for over 20 years. Lars Ulrich is a great drummer, James Hetfield knew how to keep a fan base jumping and having fun and was great singer. Can't forget the base players the late Cliff Burton and Jason Newstead they were great also. Each band member had their own personality and they were not afraid to show their fans that.

I think they are an average metal band from the 70's or 80's that have good management skills and made a name for themselves fighting Napster.

They are famous because they survived a lot of rock directions and maintained to be on the top from 70's to the end of the 90's. They became rock legends. With the lyrics and very good songs as Master of puppets, One etc. they became history in rock.

Hi there. Im not too sure why metalica is so famous, but they are lol... I like a few of there songs and I went to there first New Zealand concert when they came... Enjoyed it thoroughly...

While the songs and live performances are crucial to a band(s) becoming famous but it also depends highly on the fans accepting the band.
