Pieces of advice

It seems I am really called to give pieces of advice legally and emotionally. I have no major background on guidance counseling except for taking General Psychology and finishing modules on peer counseling. Legal counseling however is my main course, though still under Bar, yet working as Paralegal. More than a month ago, a friend through the net asked regarding marriage - requirements and his rights. Then another asked advice regarding her rights to her kid, taken away by her ex boyfriend. Last week, another "friend" asked for an advice, which I could not discuss here for some reasons regarding her status. With these things happening to me, I am overwhelmed to be of helped to these people with different kinds of cases. I really can't imagine that at least I lend them my ears and listen. I am so grateful.

I think everyone had that one friend or associate they depend on for advice. There seems to be that one person in every crowd/group that knows a bit more and many turn to. I am the one in my group of friends, not that I have all the answers, but that I know how to find them. So they tend to come to me in need of help or advice. It's nice to be that person. :oD
