Would you describe your husband's shower as a 5 minute wonder?

A friend of mine and I were comparing notes on having a husband. We found that our husbands differed quite a bit, but they both have a 5 minute wonder shower. What's a 5 minute wonder shower? They take showers in 5 mins. and you wonder what part or parts they get clean. So does your husband take a shower in 5 minutes? Do you really think he got clean in 5 minutes? Are they efficient or impatient?

When my husband is home he takes longer than 5 minutes. He enjoys taking showers at home because most often he is either deployed or in the field where he can't take a shower unless it is in cold water hahaha! So, no, he doesn't do the 5 minute wonder showers. Of course sometimes he comes out of the shower I think he just stood there under the shower head and didn't bathe and then I wonder what parts got clean. hahha!

So it's the longer than 5 minutes wonder shower! Variation on the theme. wow, as a deployed or in the field guy, I guess he would take longer. I bet he really appreciates a lot of things other guys take for granted. Thank you for the response, it makes us pause for thought.

I have not timed my husband's showers, but I figure they are way more than five minutes, more like twenty-five minutes because I can do quite a lot of responding or posting in that time. Also since we only have one washroom in our house, I am waiting impatiently especially if I had a drink of water and have to go for a visit.

You can wait to go for 25 minutes? You have a better set of waterworks than I do. So not all men have 5 min. wonder showers. But so far, many do.

my husband used to take half hour showers, at least. He would be in the bathroom forever, which is not nice when you have four teenage daughters. My son takes long showers too.

Now see, I knew somewhere there had to be men that took longer than 5 mins. Two in one household. So 7 of you. That's a lot of showers. Out of curiousity, how long do you think a shower should take? Take care

i think alot of men do this because they are impatient.my husband does this alot.and i sometimes ask him,wht so quick?and he tells me i just have to clean my body lol.men dont take as long as women in the shower, when we get in there we like to take the longest time possible just so we can relax, get ourselves clean,do our hair, shave etc.when im in the shower i try to stay in there as long as i can,so i have some mommy time for me,and my hubby can take care of the kids lol.men rather get in and out so they can do what ever else they have to do.

My husband takes a superman power shower. In and out in 5 minutes or less. It takes me way longer than that to decide which shower gel I am going to use! He is always rushing to work so he really has to get in and get out fast but man, how can anyone get clean in such a short time? My 21 year old, on the other hand, will be in there until we shut the water off on him. In my husband's case, it's just rushing that makes him be able to get in, clean his body, wash his hair, and rinse off in less time than I can even decide if I want to use my citrus body scrub or my LUSH Sexy Peel soap. He has no idea how to have a fun, relaxing shower!

Yeah, us girls just want to have fun! With me it's the coconut hair lotion and whether Dove shampoo or herbal shampoo. My husband starts way in advance and the shower is the first thing he does. He often sits and watches the news or reads a book before he goes to work. He's not rushed, he starts an hour in advance. So TV and a book are relaxing to him, but showers aren't. You're right, your and my husband don't know how to have fun. Thanks for the response, it was fun.
