I am the eldest daughter of four children but I got no sister.:( I just want to know what is the feeling of having a sister in real life?. Don't you fight or got jealous often? Is your sister your bestfriend or your nightmare? Didn't you compete each other? Is your sister your best companion? Who is close to you, your sister or your mother?I do have many sisters, onlines, my brothers girl friends and my younger friends. But I don't have a sister in real life. I am just wondering how was it of having a sister.

I have one sis and one bro. Im the eldest among three.Well i guess a life having a sister is quiete complicated.:) Especially with a sister like mine. You will really need a lot of patience and understanding 'coz she is so weird. now she's so nice and suddenly she turns into a devil in distress! Hahahhaha!!!.But seriously i and my sister had never been into a serious fight. Maybe because of our age gap. Im 10 years older that her so sibling rivalry don't exsists with us. She's still young so i guess her tantrums are just normal. And as she gain age she will realized her mistakes and somehow correct it. I really love my sistah,I can't find another sister like mine. She's one of a million so i think she's a treasure to keep.:)

Woooooowwww!!! I'm jealous for both of you.LOL Even if I don't have any sister in my same blood, I'm still happy becuase you exist in my life though. Even if I fought against you before...becuase I honestly got jealous..damn!..(ahihihi)I was afraid that time that you were going to get away my best bro. Yet even if I did those things to you, you did stay cool which I gave you two thumbsup!:) I'm so sorry to hurt you that time sistah, I was just insecure. You and Joelien stay closer to my heart as sisters than others. And yeah as the a person grows older he may realizes things too in its best. Hope, we could have more bondings in the future.:) Thanks for responding too:)

That's ok its all in the past now.Let's just forget the past and move on. What is important is the present and im really glad that im filling the space in your heart and someway I make you happy Coz you are so dear to me too. Your brothers love is my also my love and i know that he loves you so much and you always have a space in his heart that could not be erased.A space that i could not fill in no matter how hard i'll try coz that place is intended for a sister only. And im looking forward to that bondings too. I bet it'll be great... Thank you sistah and Good luck to us! :0

Ohh I'm sorry to hear that. Why not try to approach her and ask her if how is she nowadays? That is the only open line that leads both of you to share what you have had.:) We only pass life once. So, don't waste your time. I think she will be happy if you approach her. If she is not making any move to make you closer to each other, why not try to do the first move buddy. Maybe she is just waiting for you to do that. I know you can do it. Better you try than never.:) I'm looking forward for you to do that buddy. I will be happy too. Anyway, thanks for responding :) See yah around...

oh boy thats a whole can of worms to be opened up! She is not a very nice person,, been in rehab, divorced, bankrupt, parent of a child who now has a child,,,the only time she ever wants me for anything is money. i just don't have anymore time left to deal with her. i guess life will be just fine without her in it.

Uh oh...that's too bad..well, I think you still love her. Maybe you can give her your brotherly love and guide her back to the right path in life. I guess her life is totally broke up now. She needs the love and affection from her family for her to move on, and for her to have strengths. But I don't think it can be done right away. She needs time for her to realize things too. But don't give up brother, she is still your sister, part of your blood and part of your life......part of you heart. Even if she is the rotten part of your heart..but still she is part of it. :)

no help is this coz I am an only child. The only reason why I am responding is that many times I have felt similar to what you have written, though a bit more stretched. I have wondered what it would be like to have a sibling. I never understand how some siblings are so close while others dont even cross each others' shadows.i have even wondered that apart from my parents, there is nobody else in this world who with whom i share my genes exclusively (my own blood i.e.). even my child has my husband's genes, so he is not totally mine. so once my parents are gone and if i ever separate from my husband and my son takes his father's side, i would be all alone in this world. Quite a scary thought!

To have a real sister is wonderful. You can always have much fun if your age is close. You will fight and you will become good friends soon forgetting about what has happened. This is what happened to me when we were kids. Now I often talk about some important things with my elder sister whom I respect so much.

I have 5 siblings.2 boys and 2 girls. I am also the eldest in the family. me and my sister next to me which is 19 years old was very close. we share clothes to each other, share some good stories, yeah..share some secrets. we sometimes had fight. I believe that its healthy for our relationship. we sometimes get jealous to each other, but we talk about that to avoid some mis understandings. I love her,and she always makes me laugh and listen to my grief sometimes. Our relationship isnt perfect but we can get along well..

I have four sisters... we all grew up the same way and our parents were together until we were all grown. We had so many good times growing up! We fought, yes... but nothing serious at all... it would be over in minutes! I have 2 sisters, one older and one younger, who are exactly what sisters should be... we get together as often as we can, or we're emailing or calling. We love each other so much it makes us cry from happines! We never compete... we are so happy when one of us does well! We laugh a lot, too! Then I have 2 sisters, one older and one younger, who are self-centered, overly dramatic, and cruel. They have no problem with saying and doing things to hurt the family, even our Mother! They expect that we should do everything for them, but they give nothing in return except anger and trouble. One moved away, but still calls or writes one of us every month or so to stir things up... we don't answer her any more. The other lives close by, but we don't go out of our way to contact her. The three of us really wish that we could have the family together, but they were even harming our children with lies and meanness! If they realize that they have caused this themselves and really want to be with us again, we would be so happy, because we love them!! And even through all of this, I'm glad I've been sister to them all!

I was smiling while reading your response imagining the three of you laughing at each other; and I am like, "Wow!". So nice of you that you were blest with sisters like them. Sorry about the two cruel sisters you have. But it's ok, you can still be happily together someday. Just let them realize what they'd done first and everything will be alright. Thanks for your response. :)

Ohhh how touchy.. I wish that my kids will be like that too hehehe, that they will let their mom happy to the rest of her lil time on earth. Well, anyway it depends how you were brought up by your parents. And for that I salute your parents especially your mom for molding you in a perfect and a happy way.

Very fulfilling... for me it is, coz i am the eldest among 7 children and i have only one brother, so you could imagine how fulfilled i am to have 5 sisters looking up to me. As the eldest, at a young age I learned to be careful with my actions and decisions coz i know this could affect my younger sisters' lives. And with God blessings, everyone says that I excel in being a big sister. Me and my sisters are best friends, and that is despite my strictness to them. Yeah, I'm strict but in a reasonable way. I know how to loosen up, they just have to earn my trust. I am a talkish sister, but never physically hurt my siblings in any way possible. I don't believe in hurting or spanking to discipline your sisters. It is by good example that they will respect you and believe that you're always after what's right and just. Generally, it's very rewarding to see your sisters growing up very responsible and successful in their own right.

Woow! That's great! Can I have one of them? LOL just kidding:) Yeah being a big sis isn't easy though. You need to be a model to them as they have high regard from you coz they expect that much from you for being an eldest. Anyway, even it was that hard yet I knew you can still compose your poise to lead them. Well, I believed that you have had your good leadership. I can sense that though.*wink* Keep it up girl! *smile*

I have two younger sister. All I can say is that having a sister is not really that complicated as what other people think. It just that how you handle your relationship with them. Sisterly fight is very mcuh normal. My youngest sibling and I always into a slight fight...but never into a major one... but after we blurted out our emotions, everything soon be back into normal as if nothing had happened. As to my other sister, which is next to me, know what, some people will say that we're more sisters, we treat each other as friends. We chat together, some would be a nonsense one. Sometimes, other would say that we are very close that even inside the school campus, when we see each other on our way to our respecetive classes, we do stop and have a little chat as if we don't find time to talk and we should have to grab that opportunity to take a little chitchat.

I can't really help you with that, as I was an only child. I used to want a sister, or brother, though. I got kind of lonely sometimes, but I did have a pretty peaceful time, since I didn't have to argue with them. I did have some pretend friends, and I did argue with them, on occasion. lol

When my sister and I were young, we used to fight a lot over little things. But, now we dont fight that often anymore. I wouldn't say that we treat each other like bestfriends but, we respect and care for each other. I would say that my mom is more close to me than my sister. The best thing about having sister is that you could share you're things and secrets with each other.

Ohhh hassanah..cheer up. maybe your elder sister got upst with you because your not helping their household chores and always out of the house. Sometimes, we need to be cooperative and responsible enough to help our parents or elder sister. You're a pretty girl, if you didn't know that yet. Ok? Don't worry hassanah things will be alright soon. Just talk to your elder sister who always grumpy at you and make friends with her again. Please let your pride be locked up into your past and forgive your sister. *smile*

I am tyhe youngest among the three sisters. yes of course, it is not always a bed of roses. because personal disputes, misunderstandings, and heated arguments are common things. But what I like in us is, we never ended a day without talking. We never go to our beds without hugging and make up with each other. We still end up to be what we really are- sisters. Now that we are already living separate lives and having our family of our own, we still contact each other and spend time together. No more fights like we used to when we are much younger, because we already outgrown it. All left is love and respect and the fact that we are sisters for life.

wow! nice to hear that iza.*smile* Yeah I guess misunderstandings were always there. Adjustments are for life though so we cannot really expect bed of roses as always. But I like to hear that you were respecting and loving each other. I agree with you, they were for life. *smile*
