yes u are right,i am from India,there are many languages and religions,we speak in one common language,apart from the other language,different state have different languages,hindi and english is the most commonly spoken language when we meet strangers,even i dont know the exact number of religions and the languages,few of the languages which i can mention are: hindi,marathi,kannada,telugu,tamil,malayalam,conkani,etc
