What did you wish for and GAVE yourself as a present lately?

Elie the new labradorite skull - On the photo and in my hand is Elie, the new labradorite skull, and the crystal quartz skull on the table is Jolly Zee. Both skulls have spent more than a year with Synergy, the Ancient skull.

An hour or so ago I answered on a similar discussion as this one of mine, but wasn't able to place a photo of the present that I gave myself, and will do it here. Meet my last crystal skull, which was carved from a big piece of colorful labradorite crystal mineral. Her name is Elie, and she has been together with Synergy, the Ancient skull, for over an year. And how often do you give yourself big "TREATS"? I do that probably 3 to 4 times a year, as I also love to give presents to my loved once, so that there is a nice balance between the gifts to myself and the gifts to my loved once, as I enjoy so much giving instead of receiving :) How about you?

Hi thefortunes! :) For myself? Hmmm... (I got quite a time to think about it. LOL) I bought a pair of sandals, but that was a month ago. hehe... Most of the time, like you, I felt more happy giving others than receiving. If you asked what's the latest I gave to others, I'll say that (since today is payday), I bought groceries and pineapple cake for my family. Seeing their happy faces, smiles and appreciation was things money can't buy. And it felt good! *hehe* But I'll buy something for myself this coming Friday. Probably. *crosses-fingers* hehehe. Dear Sr0415 You definitely deserve a hug :), and yes, we cannot buy the happiness on the faces of our loved once when we do or give something to them that makes their day :) We should not totally discard ourselves however, and you go ahead please and buy yourself a nice present that will make your day, as we also need a little self appreciation so that we can go on giving :)

I was wanting a new ring to wear. Something that kind of symbolizes me and my son, unfortunately, I don't really have a lot of money to spend. So I found and waited for one I liked from this site: http://www.silverjewelryclub.com/aff_process.aspx?affid=5765 and ordered it yesterday. It only cost $5.99 for shipping and processing, so I'd say it was a good deal. And when it arrives I'll have a nice pretty new ring to make me feel all kinds of special.

My gift to myself is a trip I am going on at the end of the month. I am going to 4 big cities, New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Of these I have only been to Boston. I try to be frugal all year so that I can afford vacations. This year I haven't taken any vacations since New Years because I have been saving up for this big one. I am very excited. This is a huge gift to myself!!

I also love giving presents to my loved ones buy Sunday I broke loose and bought myself a cd player for my studio and a new cd. I love music and have been listening to a battery operated radio when I work but it doesn't have the same cool sound as the cd player. I do much better work when I am listening to music.

Sounds like a great gift and good for placing the emphasis on - I enjoy music while working, and do a better job this way - so I'll give myself what I rightfully deserve :)
