Why do you guys so like the godfather?

The Godfather is probably the most awesome movie I have ever seen. How I wish I could live my life the way they do. I used to watch it as a mini-series when I was a kid even if I didn't completely understand what it was all about. As an adult, I read the book, then watched it on VCD, and it was like both a brand new experience for me and something that's been there all my life at the same time. Strangely, my favorite character is Luca Brasi. His role in the film is quite short, but the way Puzo described him in the book was awesome, a man monster, someone almost surreal but reachable at the same time (there I go saying "at the same time" again :-)... There aren't enough words for me to describe The Godfather...

i love godfather too!but my favorite character isn't don,is michael.but in the movie,michael is more lovely than in the book.you'll find out if you read the book!I still remember years ago i crazily looked for this book in book market.

hi, Godfather is one novel which i can say is incredible in itself. the way in which emotions of a human being have been pictured, how they change with time,situation and different people is immensible. you will feel like its your story. somewhere you can connect to the characters of the story , maybe not as what they mean to society but as a person please read it. i liked the book more. i am sure you will also love it.
