I've gotten way behind in replying to responses in my own discussions I've started and in responding to all of your discussions you have started. One, due to my writing up more articles over at Associated Content, and two, and this is the REAL frustrating part, since I'm still not getting that many e-mail notices from friends who have started discussions or for those who have replied to mine, so I'm NOT ignoring you.
I used to get over 50 notices in my e-mail everyday of MyLotters discussions they've started and responses to my own...now if I get five I'm lucky, so I usually haven't a clue what the heck is gong on...and yes I do click onto the links of "discussions my friends have started" an so forth, but it still seems I'm not getting anywhere...I even did e-mail MyLot to tell them about the problem, and they are aware of it, but I still seem to have this glitch, and it seems some of the rest of you do as well....so just bear with me...I hope to catch up here eventually!!!

I am glad that you brought this subject up at this time.I believe that a solution is at hand.I may be wrong mind you,but I've been going through my friends list and one by one taking a look at their profile and last login.Anyone that hasn't logged in for a month I've removed from the list.Maybe it is just a coincidence but I did receive more mail in my inbox today.I just have to wonder if the number of friends that you may have and how deep into the pile that Mylot must search has an effect on what you receive through the mail.
Keep in mind that this is only theory and I've just begun to try it to see how it works out.

Nope that doesn't seem to be the problem....whether I kept my friends even the ones on my list who haven't been active for awhile, hasn't seem to affected how many email notices I've gotten in the past and it's not like I have hundreds and hundreds of people on my friends list

I know what you mean, I was caught up in the glitch for a while too. I got into my e-mail yesterday morning and only had 5 e-mails, I thought that was very strange so I answered those 5 and started a couple of discussions. When I went back to check my e-mail like 10 minutes later, I had over 100 notification! Over the next 2 hours I had 50 more, most of which were 15-20 hours old and they just kept coming fast and furious for about 5 hours. By the time I got done last night my hands actually hurt from so much typing. Up side was I made more money yesterday than my old record! LOL

Mmmm....well I still seem to have the glitch...but perhaps be surprised soon and will find my email over running with notices...LOL

I'm must be one of the lucky few, or just haven't noticed the e-mail glitch, since for the last couple of days I haven't really been going through my e-mail as I usually do. Just pick here and there, and the rest gets deleted.
Haven't had my mind much on the internet lately. Which is strange for me, since I am the biggest internet addict one could possibly meet. Though I guess having certain things come up has a way of detouring one's mind to specific problems at hand.
I'm sure everyone understands that you are doing your best to get caught back up, but don't beat yourself up over it, if you happen to miss some. *hugs*

Thanks and hugs to you too... :) Of course I've been spending a lot of time too developing those websites for my poor neglected kitties...LOL--they're going to wind up with more websites than me!

LOL! Speaking of which I need to get working on Skyebye's and get the rest of my cats added. Been of such a busy nature lately I don't know if I am coming or going. Such fun!! lol

I get what you're saying, pyewacket. Just hang in there. My mail is back to normal and I can hardly find the time to start a discussion. I have managed to receive some of your posts and responses. So that's good.

I still seemed to be glitched here...I even emailed MyLot and they said they were working on the problem...oh, well....Just finished two more articles and submitted them for publication at AC...now trying to catch up here

I think kitty is deleting them from your email when you are not looking because you are not spending enough time with him/her. LOL I will be patient.

I'll say I do a lot of work on the computer..think I live in front of it...LOL--Just finished some more articles for AC, so that makes my day today :) Also got paid by them for two articles that were accepted...another little bonus (((hugs to you too)))

I havent heard from you all day. Im sure you will catch up dont fret the small stuff.LOL I know what your going threw I had that for over a week one time. This time it only lasted one day for me anyway. Hope they fix yours soon. Hang in there my friend.

Well I'm ........back.. Hey hey..Still have that glitch--but have been checking the links of the "discussions my friends have started" so I at least have some clue of what's going on with my friends

I will bear with you...as will all your other friends I am sure. First off, good to know you're pursuing your writing goals with AC...wishing you every success!
Next, I am glad you posted this because I was beginning to wonder why I hadn't seen you around my site...or commenting to others on yours. You are a valued member and we all enjoy hearing about the positive changes you are making and sharing your inner world. Also, I do not think what you are experiencing with notifications is an isolated thing...others have made similar complaints.
So, do the best you can, keep on keeping on...and I know we'll be chatting again soon.
