Good question for me for today and it 'jerks' me to respond to your discussion. Actually now it only need to rectify on two(2) parts. The management and players attitude. Nothing to worry for spors facilities and the coaching as well. Government has well done in fulfiing in providing all of the so called facilities, administrative level and development programs. Yeah...you're right for the flashback of the years of 70's and 80's and it's a good references in soccer development. The fair and square happened to the players and just a mmatter-of-fact, fans always speak on player's name and the out standing for each position of the player. The effulgent state that being achieved by the player themselves. Arumugam best for goalkeeper, Soh Chin Aun for fullback, Santokh Singh for mid-fielder and Mokhtar Dahari for striker. All of them being BOLD and SIGNIFICANT to the respective position and not only famous inland but in the greatest ASIA SOCCER WORLD. Nobody spoke about who was the great coach at that time. Means player took the overall outstanding. And the management at that time was keenly choosing player thru compentency level achived by the players and not on colors of the shadow. That's only my idea about the current predicaments having burning to our National Soccer. Just like planting plants, after fertilizing and watering, needs bacteria and pesticide control.
