Most of us had heard this, "Watch your tounge!" Once we let out words from our mouth, we can no longer take them back, especially if those words had hurt someone else's feelings. The power of our tounge is really sharp. I'm talking about our words said to OTHERS, but how about those we say to OURselves? What we think and say to ourselves can greatly affect the way we do things. I notice that when I procastrinate or complain or see the negative sides of every situation, I felt miserable. It seems that the day is an unlucky one for me. Every thing seems not to go my way. On the other hand, when I change my thinking into positive ones and encourage myself, rather than focus on my panic attacks and worries, my works are successful and even exceed the expectation.:) And the people around me notice my glow! (",) Bad thoughts almost guarantee failure, while good and smart thoughts pave the way to success.:) Say positive things on yourself everyday, until it becomes a habit. :) *** God bless! \(",)_ And oh! I forgot to ask: HOW DOES WHAT You say to yourself AFFECT you? Make some reflection.:)

Yes what you have said is absolutely true. Sometimes the words from our mouth just come in a flash and it hurts the feelings of others, this we realise only once we use this words who don't realise this when we use them. The main reason for this is Anger which I could say because its only our anger because of which we use such harsh words and hurt their feelings. So its always better to control our anger so that we can reduce the usage of such harsh words and maintain good relationship with others.

Hi dvaryani1! :) That's why never decide on certain things when you're at the highest of your emotions nor in the your down"est" of what you feel. And always think that if what you say is NOT good, it's much better to just keep your lips sealed. You can relay a better conversation and resolve issues when feelings or emotions are not THAT involved. Take care and God bless! =)

LYN, Hi! I entirely agree with you that positive thinking makes us happy and successful, on the other hand negative thinking keeps us down and out. We should let enter negative thoughts in our mind and we should always look at the positive site of a situation. We should always use positive and encouraging words for ourselvs and for our near and dear ones. Very Good Post indeed!

Sometimes when we are really angry we let our emotions out say words which usually hurts others as well as us when we come to know what we have said when we calm down then it makes us realize from the inside that what i have done!!!!!and then we regret about so before letting out our tongue speak we should think twice about what it affect will it be on others and you!!!! We should try to keep our mind clear so no bad thoughts come to our mind and eventually we become less prone to anger!!!

What we say to ourselves is of the most utmost importance--it dictates who we are--we are what we believe ourselves to be--or rather what we say to ourselves. What we say to ourselves is everything--who we believe ourselves to be, what we believe the world to be, everything...

Words are a very powerful thing. They can cause great heartache but also great happiness. I try and start the day with a possitive attitude, but doesnt always work. When i curse myself over things, i feel horrible and let down by myself. Giving myself positive words makes me feel better. Best wishes to you, sr

Its always better to keep mouth shut , rather than allowing it to say whatever it wants to and gaining bad names. Most of the time, when the tongue is not under control, it will lead to some sort of trouble. Thats is the reasons why we are advised to CONTROL TONGUE. It not only stops the problems because of overtalking, but will also allow us to hear more from others and gain some knowledge.

I would agree with you that you have to watch what you say at all times because it might affect you or someone around you in a positive way or in a negative way. But, speaking your mind is better for you than not speaking your mind at all.

Hi!Well, when we have to speak to others,we have to think twice before we speak, because words once spoken cannot be taken back just as an arrow shot from the bow cannot be put back. But when we speak to ourselves, we have to speak the same thing over & over again, for only then the positive thinking becomes the BELIEF which finally lands us on the por of 'SUCCESS'. GOD BLESS!! www.creatingcolourfulfuture.com
