What would you choose a love that is true, passionate - soul connection - which will end soon - maybe he/she will die, or have to go away or you'll just all of a sudden forget about each other - lose each other or a safe, secure, boring love that you'll have forever. You won't fight, but will barely talk. Little affection, hardly any - physical intimacy - plain vanilla - but all the hugs you want - ask for - a date for family/friend function, someone to travel with, go out to eat with etc. They will never leave, always be faithful, live a long life. Kind of like jumping right to the comfortable relationship you imagine your parents or grand parents have.
