Are you with him/her because you think you have to?

With someone you don't love - or love them but not romantically? Why are you still with them? Think you should stay because of not wanting to hurt them, family obligations, because you don't think you can find better, because its become a habit - or maybe you don't know why? I believe that you can want more and ask for it. Have your cake - and the flavour you want - want sprinkles - have them!

Well I'm not feeling this way with my boyfriend
We've been together for 2 years and 1 month and I love him
But it already happened to me once with my ex-boyfriend who I dated for 1 year
In my case I was with him because I didn't have the courage to break up with him
I was afraid to hurt his feelings and also afraid to regret and be rejected if I tried to come back with him, so I think that's one of the reasons some people are with somebody because they have to
Now I'm with my actual boyfriend because I love him :)

What an excellent reason to be with someone because you like them! I know how it is to feel afraid to hurt someone's feelings. Sometimes its also hard to let someone know you don't have any romantic feelings for them! Its not a terrible thing - you may really like and admire that person.

it is not exactly like that but i agree that for a relationship to sustain and work out there should be enough time given to it other wise the results can be very drastic.now this is the time when we go and look for positive things but yet there is nothing but a lost faith when you have some doubt about your partner.so dont suspect them.

I'm with my Hubby b/c I love him and we're happy together. We have had disagreements but never outright fights. I am a firm believer that if your in a relationship and your not happy...you need to find what will make you happy and do it.
