Guard Uses Taser on Man Holding Baby

OMG! i cant believe that..i thought it was illegal to shoot one of those things at anyone with a child..all they had to do was follow him home..and have the police get him..realy..that just angers me,,,that poor baby..i hope the baby wil be ok..and i really hope that guard gets somthing against him for endangering that childs life.this was disgusting...

Being a nurse and having to deal with unreasonable people like this man and his wife I think the officer thought he was doing the right thing. The officers job is to keep the man from kidnapping the baby, according to the hospital the staff did not know who he was and he was beligerant to them. It sounds like he was being a real a$$ hole. I am sorry the baby got in the way and maybe got hurt, it also sounds like the dad wants to get money out of the hospital. This is another time that fits in to my dad's saying "Fool's name and fool's faces always show in public places" he deffiantly was acting like a fool.

IN this case I think the cop should not have tazed the man. He did not appear aggressive, he did not go for either cop. He, at that point, was just arguing. So I don't think the man should have been tazed in that situation, ESPECIALLY holding a newborn. BUT, he should not have taken the baby. Newborn babies need to be in a hospital for a while to make sure they are healthy and stuff. He shouldn't have just grabbed the baby and tried to leave with it.
