How do you keep your pizza from getting stale and dry in the refrigerator?

Everytime we order delivery pizza, there are always left overs. And, inevitably, those left-overs become someone's lunch the next day. But, often the left over pizza doesn't taste as fresh day two as it did when it was first delivered. Sometimes it's completely dry and flat. And, I was wondering, are there any ways to keep delivey pizza from drying out once you put it into the refrigerator? What type of storage container is large enough to hold three or four slices of pizza to keep it fresh? Would love any suggestions on how to keep day old pizza tasting (almost) as good as it did when it was first delivered. Thanks!

You can try a ziploc moisture bag or a plastic wrap. If the pizza is too dry anyways, try spreading a bit of water or olive oil on the crust and cover with a paper towel when reheating it, that should moisten it back up to an extent. If its too wet when refrigerated, you might be storing it too close to a vegetable bin, or you may have to check moisture settings on your fridge (if they even exist on your brand). If you are preparing refriged pizza thats too wet, reheat it in the oven and your pizza should be about the same as when you ordered it.

We usually use saran wrap for left over pizza. And if we heat it up, we always use the oven. I hate the way that most things taste cooked in a microwave, and pizza is one of the worst. I just pop it in the oven for a few minutes, and sometimes it really just about tastes better than it did to start with. Especially if you like a crispy crust! In fact, we've been known to go pizza right after we finish eating, and put it directly in the fridge, so we can eat it the next day! lol We live 30 miles away from the closest pizza place, so we have to plan ahead. :)

We always have left-over pizza. I put it into the Big Ziploc bags. I think they are storage or freezer bags- whatever we have in the house- They keep the pizza the freshest- then you can take it out and re-heat in the over, toaster oven, or eat cold like I do- I am not big on microwaving leftover pizza- I think it dries it out.

Oh boy,not pizza!I use to work at pizza delight for 8 years.I cant even eat it anymore.HA,HA.Try just putting it on a normal dinner plate and wrapping it in saranwrap,2 layers.Never leave it in the pizza box, because the cardboard just soaks up the moisture in the pizza. Then just heat it in the microwave enough to warm it.I hope this helps.
