Would you stop bathing and shaving your legs if...

I would definitely still bathe, for health and hygiene.
but i probably wouldn't bother washing my hair or shaving my legs as regularly,
only when i felt like feeling nice and clean.
I often get a very pleasant feeling when i go 'back to nature' and i'm slightly grubby =P.

You know there is a theory being bandied about that kids are getting sicker because they're too clean - never get to know germs well enough to set up a defense against them. Wash off all the helpful germies too.

You know what, I think that that's exactly the problem with a lot of kids.
Lots of asthma cases, allergies etc because over protective parents, who use all the detergents and anti-bacterial soaps etc don't allow their children to develop immunities by getting sick in the first place.
I think all children should be entitled to play in the mud, climb a tree and eat a slug or two. =]

I think I would do things according to my mood for the day. What's the big deal of shaving, and bathing and looking pretty when there is nobody around to share it with. Lol. But maybe I will try to stick to my routine beauty regimen so that when I am released after a year I will still look pretty and presentable to the world. But I would definitely be lazy some days.

Sounds logical. Keep moisturizing, eating well (beauty is really from the inside out) so that your skin is still fresh and such, and you don't gain 100lbs! Yoga for strength training. Climbing coconut trees! I think I would do things according to my mood. Especially shaving!
I would always brush my teeth though. Teeth are one of those areas where if you ignore them they WILL go away.

I think I would bathe as well, especially since I'd be in the ocean a lot likely - all salty. I like smooth legs. Thanks for participating.

all to myself? I guess definitely not anti-perspirant since there'd be no stock!
definitely would stop shaving. As a girl, no facial shaving required. legs? nah... not worth the trouble.
but would definitely wash my face and bathe daily especially if it were hot!

Well like I said you'd have access to everything you needed - you would just be on your own! I'd skip the anti-perspirant as it contains aluminum and aluminum is found in high quantities in the brains of alziemers folks - who have passed on and is believed to be linked.

Since I would be alone,I wouldn't use anti-perspirant. But of course, I would take a bath daily, or twice a day. I guess I couldn't stand the smell brought about by not taking a bath for a year.. gross!
About shaving, well I dont shave my legs so there wouldn't be an issue on that =)

So if you were ever stuck somewhere without razors - you would never have to worry! Yeah if its really hot you'd likely want to take at least one bath and one dip in a fresh water pool...

If I was alone on a desert island, I would still bathe everyday and wash my hair regularly. Also, I would still shave. Not my legs, though, because I don't shave my legs. I used to shave them but the hair grew coarser so I stopped shaving them. I believe I would still have personal hygiene even if I'm stuck & alone on a faraway place.

I would probably still bathe somewhat regularly, though not necessarily daily. I'd definitely shave my underarms, but I'd probably let my legs go for a while, till it started to bother me. I'm not sure about anti-perspirant--that would probably depend on if the desert island was really like a desert or more like an island paradise. :)

I love showers/baths anyway, but if there were a beautiful freshwater pool in the midst of paradise, it would be worth it! Okay, this is making me want to go back to Hawaii or move to some remote island! I love the feeling being totally surrounded by water on an island brings. And here I am - in the desert!

Hi artemis432! I would definitely bathe regularly because deserts are hot. But with the shaving thing, I might do it once a month..haha...and the anti-perspirant, oh yes. I still want to feel good and fresh somehow even though I would be feeling so lonely fo a year. Have a nice day and take care!
