Anyone dream of this - what do you think we would do if we had a major catastrophe - band together, just watch out for ourselves and our family....are you preparing as if 2012 predictions are a reality?

I never like to think about the end of the world. That topic is never in my mind, while I'm daydreaming or not. I just don't like to focus on such negative, frightening events. And I really hope it never happens! hehe.

Many think that we create our own destinies. When we focus on the good, good things come our way. Certainly, when I've trusted the Universe or God things fall into place. When I don't and think of all the negative things that could happen - they do. Thanks for participating! Hope you're having fun.

I understand where you are coming from Lily. Personally, I envy you. From time to time I end up thinking about apocalypse, it always seems to creep up, especially with negative comments or imagery. And yes I too hope it never happens either. Humanity may have its flaws, problems, disagreements, but I for one would not want an apocalypse or anything too catastrophic.

Personally I'm not sweating 2012. The same kind of crap was hyped before. 1999 was hyped... nothing happened. Then it was 2000 and the Y2K...nothing happened. I remember global cooling had a stint...and of course nothing happened. There was the Midnight-Doomsday Clock...nothing happened there too. Its all just a bunch of hype, either started by people to control the masses or by crazies to control other crazies. If something major was to happen, I believe humanity would band together in its own way (yea it wont be completely uniform, this is humanity we are talking about). Am I prepared, not in the extreme sense. I think I'm mentally prepared but the end could be more than anyone can imagine. Don't get me wrong, there are still plenty of valid end of earth scenarios. If you are reading this, don't let it sweat you too much.

Well, catastrophe has happened many many times and the world hasn't come to an end. None of us know when it will, and I am sure catastrophic things will happen many more times before it does.
