Freelance/Part-time jobs

Well, actually I am a transcriptionist. I'm paid per day and not based on the length of the audio or the line count so I tried freelancing which, as you know, I was never paid. I've sent my invoice a few times already, followed it up, I've even talk to their, I think, HR personnel, and I got nothing. I guess one of the reasons why some people think that transcription is not true or does not exist is because, well, I've seen a number of transcription companies closing down because they don't have clients which is the essence of it all. It's easier to put up a transcription company than finding and building relationships with clients. And also, there are those who claimed to be online transcription companies but actually they will just try to get you buy their software products.
