My Drinking

I have been a problem drinker for 5 years - I have woken so so many mornings saying never again but 2 nights later I'm back drinking, I am so sick of living like this, it's a vicious circle and I want it to stop! I've tried AA but I'm a solo mum with 2 children and can't get to meetings - I hide it now and say I don't drink but do it at home - and basically hide it, I don't want to drag my family back into it because I don't like seeing them sad - What do I do?

Its easy for anyone to say stop doing this or that... If you want help.. you need to speak to someone that will understand you, someone that has been through similar or worse situations. I have allot of expiriance in this field... both helping and once upon a time over particapating in quite a 'free' lifestyle. If you do not eventually change your ways... you will loose the people around you... and NOT because they dont love you, But because you push them away with your selfish behaviour. Drop me a line if you like

Basically u r mind is bounded on your own boundaries. U must be come out from the boundaries of your mind. Its easy, if u feel to drink then change your mind n do some thing else. Change your thoughts n try to maintain dicipline life. Automatically u can get changes in your life.

I know you are embarassed but I also know you really want to get through this, and you need to both for yourself and your kids. Cindy, you need accountablility. I am not saying broadcast your drinking to everyone, but tell 1-2 family members that will watch your children for you so you can go to AA meetings. This way you have someone coming over so you will go because they are holiding you accountable as well as the AA group.

Is there no one that can watch your cildren while you attend meeting? A family member, neighbohood teenager that you trust? Have you thought about looking for an online forum where you can chat with people with similiar problems? How about taking up a hooby?
