MYLOT very slow browsing speed! even with high speed internet!!

yeah, same over here, if u are from india u would be knowing it, BSNL 256 KBps speed, still site is opening slow, it might be due to traffic

It works pretty good for me too. When I'm on the computer with DSL the pages load in a second or two. The only time I have any trouble is when I'm on my other computer that only has dial-up. Then it can easily take 30 seconds...or at least it feels like that long. But that's not a strictly mylot problem, that computer loads everthing that slowly. If it's just a mylot problem for you, my guess is that your computer has a hard time handling all the photos. I'm not a computer person so I don't have an advice on how to speed things up.

Mine is working just fine and I can't say I have ever had a problem with my speed. It may be a problem on your end. Have you tried cleaning out your history and cookies? Sometimes those can build up and cause a site to run slow on your computer. But even on dial up mylot was one of the faster sites I have ever used.

Mylot is slow compared to other websites that I use, but doesn't take more than 10 seconds to load a page for me. Maybe more like five. I would think it's probably because of the number of users. It's likely that when mylot originally opened the admins didn't expect to have the kind of traffic they have now, so they didn't plan for such success.
