Do any Australians here on My Lot know anything about the DNA testing kits? My husband wants to test for Paternity regarding his son. If he founds out he is not the Father of hios son, can he sue his ex for past maintenance?

www.dnanow.com.au Hopefully my small help to you will solve your husband's issue with his DNA paternity test as they provide link for HOME TEST(upper-center-part) of its website. From Me, Michael. (I've been in Swantson St, Melbourne for 5 years)

I had a look at the link you supplied here,. It is better than the one I have found. I have ordered a DNA test kit. Thanks.

I have never heard of that but here in the US- the dr's want to control everything- I am curious to know the outcome of this predicament-- please keep us posted.

their must be a private clinic that will do the test for you , I don't think he would be ablr to sue as there wouldn't have been any proof .but I think if I were him I would give it a good try xxx

I dont know much about it, But they use a swab to take saliva from the mouth, I dont know how long it takes to get the results back either...I think that you need a court order or something to get the permission to get it done..

Sorry, not familure with the laws in Australia but in the US he would have to have a test done at a court approved clinic and then might be able to sue for a few years back pay but most likely not all. I have heard of cases here where they won up to 2 years back support.
