It's funny that I saw this discussion, I just answered this question in a response someone made on one of my discussions :) I told them when I move out I plan on getting two dogs. I said they would both be adults (not puppies) and at least one of them would be unattractive. Because I know unattractive dogs have less chance of getting adopted, so I would adopt at least one to help it out! Just because it is unattractive doesn't mean it won't have the best personality!

Absolutely. If more people spayed and nuetered there wouldn't be as much of a choice at the pound - which would be a good thing - less animals to be murdered. I hope you spay and nueter your pets.

All 9 of my cats and dogs ( 7 cats, 2 dogs)are spayed and nuetered! And all future pets will be also. I agree, and I wish that people would be smart and stop breeding their animals, trying to make a profit on the puppies. They need to realize animal shelters are in more need then they are!

well, if it comes to be a dog then I would love to have a cute puppy. I am not good with taking care of the pet that much, but I rather choose the healthy one and pretty one and then I don't have to worry about anything else. But if it so cute but it has allergy and you can't take your eyes of him/her, then the vet would be the second choice too... :)
