what is the best way to reduce weight?

i have been fightinh hard to lose my weight. Right now i am around 93kgs and my height is 183cms. i am overweight, so wanna reduce my weight. can anyone give me any tips which make me to reduce my weight by atleast 10 to 12kgs. i am staying alone and not with a family so, any tips whihc could be followed by bachelors are very much welcome. Please give me your tips.

Eat less and do exericse at least 3 km of brisk walking every day. Avoid eating food which are fried and having too much fat.

Try a leaner diet, one consisting of some grains, steamed vegetables, fruits and lighter meats (or no meats). Avoid fatty snacks and deserts. Try to insert physical activity in your daily routine, any little bit helps. Take the elevator? Try the stairs instead (unless you're on the 20th floor or something...). Drive to the nearby store? Try walking and making it a lighter trip. Its a tough road so don't expect any get thin quick schemes.
