So, my sister and I were trying to think of something clever to do for her boyfriends upcoming birthday and I chanced across this website (which I actually think I may have seen on tv at some point) to purchase moon property. Is this legal? Does anyone really think you can own property on the moon? Either way, it is only thirty bucks, comes with a cute little package of certificates and maps and such ad she is gonna turn the whole day into a trip to the observitory and a picnic and all that good stuff. Sounded cute to us. But really no, has anyone else ever heard of this? Ever bought moon property? Just curious here.

Oh yeah, I bought it for my dad as a gag gift. They send you a lot of cool stuff. But you really don't own moon property. I mean, the company would have to have rights to the moon, and they don't. No one does. But it's a cool and creative idea for a gift. My dad thought it was pretty cool.

Yeah, it seems kind ofpointless, but it will might a sweet evening for them stargazing and such and a cute way to explain why you went to the observatory for the night. Good to know that it comes with cool stuff! Thanx!
