How would you describe your typical day?

Philippines
August 17, 2007 5:31pm CST
I am a home-buddy. My day is not complete without turning on my pc and logged onto the internet. I always hang around my free paying sites including mylot. Likewise, getting up at 5am opening our little store and retiring from work at 7pm is very tiresome, but I am not complaining for it is a part of an entrepreneur's life. How about you? What do you do normally in a day?

LOL... internet, when I wake up, no disciplined waking up and sleeping time, Take a bath, eat breakfast and back to internet again if there are no appointments or duty. If there are appointments, I attend to them and adjust my sleeping time to catch my working sckedule. After that, back to the internet. Like I would like to shift my carreer to the cyber world, so I can work alone on my computer... lol... makes me think

btw, what are you into? it seems you are your own boss! do you manage your own business? i have checked your profile and i was surprised that you are my fellow 'kababayan' pala. i thought for a while that you're from a foreign land. LOL surfing the net became a hobby after i retired from work. i began learning about computer world just recently and it changed my life after all. it made my world even smaller, the fact is, with this internet, everything is accessible easily. am i right?

I normally get up at 6 then prepares some breakfast, wake my kids up at 6:30 while i prepare their food for school. then they off to school at 7:30, and my husband is off to work. When they're all gone, i do my chores and at mid-morning opens my pc, sort some emails, go to mylot and to yuwie. My day got some changes only if i have to go to my client, i'm a freelance non-life insurance agent. Delivering policies or off for some payment collections. My day ends at 11:00pm after watching my favorite korean novela.

devotion and commitment as a mom and wife to your family is the greatest responsibility you have placed on your shoulder, that is, without any reservations because you love them so much. a typical mom and a worker as well! i feel that you are having now peace of mind after those 'unhapy moments'. God bless you my friend in all of your undertakings.

I am beginning to hate using computers everyday. I use a computer at work, i use a computer at home. Gosh i don't even have time to go out much or read books or anything. That's just my life right now. Work, eat, watch tv, use the internet, a little bit of socializing, do house chores, sleep. It's a never ending cycle. i'm beginning to hate it actually. I wanna do more. Haha. hopefully in a few months i'll get to do something more. ^_^ Maybe enroll in some language course, sports activity or something.

A little of this..a little of that...a piece of this and a piece of that...good quest and discover new things...like as you said learning new language, going into sports, etc. i am with you my friend. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

Hello! A typical day for me would be describe as getting up at 7am on weekdays, to be at work by 8am, then go home at around 6pm. Open my pc, then log on to myLot or sometimes just piss around with my pc surfing the net. If there's a nice show or movie on tele I do watch it a bit. Most of the days we go out to have dinner, let say at 8pm then be back at 11pm latest. And i'll go to sleep at around 12am. My weekdays is pretty much the same routine, it's kinda boring but I don't mind. I'm a home-buddy like you. I like staying at home. Take care. cheers! :D

Hello! Yeah I still go to work 5 days a week, but if its weekend as much as possible I would prefer to be at home, just do my own thing. If you'll ask me I don't like going out almost every night for dinner but my hubby prefers it, sometimes I go with him and his son, sometimes not. Thanks. Take care. cheers! :D

Dear Filipino, It is difficult to explain a typical day, because days are not typical. Each day is different particularly for a business person like me. However, the routines are: get up at 5.30, exercise till 6.15, coffee with news papers, bath at 7 a.m. and breakfast at 7.45 a.m.Move to office at 8.30 a.m. and supervise the work at business place till 1 p.m. and Lunch at 1.30 p.m., nap till 2.15 p.m. and back to work, work till in my own business place (business centre till 9 or 9.30 or 10). That is how it goes. Sometimes, I do go out on business work for replenshment of stocks required..

My typical day usually involves me getting up after 8AM and getting ready for my day before heading to grab a bit of breakfast before coming back to my apartment to do some things and wait around until it's time for me to leave for class. I head off to whatever class I need to take, come back and then either wait for my next class, or figure out what I'm going to do later. I always put in some internet time, some tv time, some cleaning time, etc.

Dear ryanphil01, I also like to stay only in house. I never wanted to go out. Even I had the opportunity to go out with relatives or friends I try to avoid such opportunity. I only go to office and come straight to home. That is I do. Holidays I stay in my house.

I hope you just don't go idle while at home. Make your time more productive even by staying at home. Oh by the way, never say that you don't want to go out, chances are you will get bored somehow by locking up yourself at home. Go out once in a while if there are opportunities, enjoy with friends too.

I get up early, too. To attend to my children's needs and do some household chores. And my whole day will be spend on my pc. I devote most of my time here in front of the computer. But I do also have a business. And my husband has a good paying job. So spending time with online program is not really a waste of time but another venue for me to earn an extra.

yeah, i agree with you. working online benefits you all the while. just don't forget to share few moments too with your hubby while he's around. he might get jealous. LOL.

My alarm clock rings at 6:00 AM. I have to wake up early because my class starts at 7:30 AM. Good thing, the University where I teach is just around 15 minutes away by tricycle ride. I take my brunch at around 10:30 after my first 2 periods of class. I stay in the animation laboratory for the rest of the day doing paper works and other projects. I usually go home at 6:00 PM. Dinner is usually taken outside because it takes effort to cook for only one person. I watch TV while doing my freelance projects at night. Light is turned off at around 1AM.

I wake up and throw on some coffee. Then I fire up my pc. I check the message boards I belong to, read my emails, and then off to the free money making sites. That's the biggest part of my routine. Everything varies because my 4 year old doesn't wake up at a set time. In between doing paid emails I'm at his mercy and I have to feed, water, and let his dog out. Since it's summer time we get in the pool for a couple hours most mornings after we get good and awake. Then it's back in for lunch and chores. Then it's back to making some change online. Some days I throw in mylot and some days I don't. Then I spend more time with my kid. Next thing you know, it's time to make dinner. After we get the dishes out of the way, I get back to making money or watch some tv with my partner. This will all change when he goes on 2nd shift next week. I'll be doomed then because I'll be doing nearly all the parenting as he's working 7 days a week his new job. UGH UGH UGH LOL

it seems you have a fully automated sked and would be more hectic next week with your hubby's new job. i hope you still find time hanging around here. i feel you got a wonderful family. they are the best gifts we had. good day to you.

I get up later, around 8 or 9, go to the computer, do a bit of work, then head around the pay-to-post sites and do a bit of that. Then I head off to work, I usually work about 4 or 5 hours, then heading home to make dinner. I might do some knitting or work on the computer for a bit, then we eat dinner. Then I work on the computer a bit more: preparing lessons, writing worksheets, answering emails.

let me guess...since you work for 4 to 5 hours only and you prepare lessons and worksheets, you must be managing your own business or you must be working as part time employee, perhaps a teacher? which is which? but, let me say that you really got a productive day! good luck.
