in wich sport you are asking, i like cricket and i thing kapil dev is the player of history becouse he is the great bowler and batsmen and he is the only captain who wn the worldcup for india............he is great Kkittu:)

has to be Carl Lewis for all round sportsman winning gold in different sports. others are great in a specific field.
