Why is money necessary for earning a living?

I would love to live without having to interfere with money but unfortunately in this world we have to have money to have a living so why is not the way I was thinking?

i dont know why...but its sad how things are so expensive!! i wish it was back in the day when things cost like 16 cents or whatever! my husband and i want to buy a home...and i cant get over the prices of houses now..its crazy!!!
