A touch of fall

funny, we went to our favourite thrift store yesterday and they are all decked out for halloween...even my 14 year old daughter complained...its not even september yet, she complained! during the summer we have made a habit of going to the beach on the weekends, but yesterday we decided to do some cleaning (to finish or maintain what we have done while we were on holidays in july) but no, we are not doing any NEW cleaning...i am however, getting my daughters to try on their jeans, etc to get ready for school. dont get too used to that 'cool canadian air' because here in southern ontario (Canada) this week, or at least by the end of it, its sposed to be hot and muggy again ICK!

Wasn't it delightful today? It was actually chilly last night considering the weather we did have. I had a wonderful day doing some heavy duty cleaning--NOT--But one of those projects I've been putting off for a long time..completely cleaning out my entertainment center--gee that was fun and did some laundry. See the exciting life we single gals have...LOL--I think the next place I need to do a thorough clean is the bedroom from top to bottom--that might be my event for tomorrow. Want to help out?? Hehe

Mmmm, I'm thinking about that fresh air flowing through your house. I love being able to open up the house to air it out. Fall is one of the best times to deep clean. I will go room to room and clean anything I can. I don't go as far as closets and drawers. The drawers get cleaned shortly after they need it. The closets get cleaned now and then but I don't have a specific time that I do it. That's something I need to do now but I've been putting it off. My 4 year old is like a tornado ripping through the house, so he keeps me busy with cleaning.

I do it for Spring and Autumn the only thing is now that it takes me longer then it used to and I am so angry about that It has been like Autumn here today it was windy cold and wet

After about 30 days this year of over 90 degree temps here in Minnesota Friday evening we had lows in the 40's. And Saturday the highs were only in the 60s with a lot of much needed rain. It actually is a tad cold but does it ever feel good. Plus it's great for my asthma as well. I barely claen as it is. I dust wash and vacuum once a week at least. But not much of the all around cleaning. HAHAHA! I'm lazy I tell ya! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I love this cool weather- unfortunately it won't last long- I would love to start cleaning now instead of having to wait for October...October is my favorite month-- I just love that time of year and hat ebeing home cleaning when I can be out playing in the cool weather, so I try doing little stuff here and there so it's not so bad come fall...but there is only so much you can do in the heat- especially when you need to get stuff from the sweltering attic to accomplish it...LOL

I have noticed just the tiniest bit of fall in the air. I do not do specific housecleaning in the fall, only because I like to do it year round. But this is a great season coming up, and I am looking forward to it.

I'm feeling it, I'm feeling it :):) It has been a bit hard on me these last very hot days and it was quite refreshing to feel the breeze today. As for fall cleaning ,yep I'm there. I want to do it before I start working in September so I've been working on it:) I don't houseclean necessarily because it's fall but usually because school starts in Septemeber and I want to make sure that I have most things done because when I'm working I have less time and it's easier this way :)

I don't normally but you make me think I should. I also can't wait for fall as it is my favorite season. Our fall starts about the beginning of September so it's not far off. AT PEACE WITHIN

It seems the weather is changing slowly in your place. It starting to go to the cold winter. Its the time for lot of thing after a whole year waiting....the halloween, the back to school rush...and then thanksgiving to the Christmas and again another new year. A row of big things of a year, the big excitement at every step. Thanks for reminding me my city in this days when i am away from home

Hi TerryZ! I do general cleaning once a month and do some minor cleaning everyday because here in our country we have so much dust. Maybe because we have only dry and wet season (summer and rainy season). Hope you'll have a nice time cleaning and redecorating your home, I am sure it will look beautiful.
