I heard about bittersweet and semisweet chocolate. Is there a difference between them?

I've taste the bittersweet. well the taste is what the name implies. the taste is sweet and bitter chocolate, while the semisweet there's no such taste of bitterness of chocolate and not too sweet... which mean "not too sweet chocolate"

there is no difference between bittersweet and semisweet. It's just that in other countries, they call this kind of chocolate differently....either bittersweet (eg.England/Europe) or semisweet (eg.U.S.)....it's the same kind.
