To be honest, I have never played golf nor even had the chance to see a golf competition in real life. Here in my place, most people say golf is just a sport or hobby for the rich people since it's costly to pay for the registration for the specific golf club that you will be playing in or whatever payments. But I do want to try to play golf or even try to hold a golf club. :) or step on the green. :)

I have played golf in your country, up in Bagiuo and also in Manila, it was not expensive ... I can't remember ... but I think what you have heard about is the annual fee that can be expensive, but just to play a round .... maybe one day you can do it ... i hope so and I wish you well

golf is a great game, but expensive...it is almost unreachable for average income families...but my family likes to play...we go to the driving range and hit a bucket once in awhile.

Ive been playing a lot of sports since i ws a kid, and when I took a break from work, m brother then a handicap 27 player, was pushing me to play golf. I said no, I said, thats for old people. Finally, he persuaded me to take it up by virtue of a bet. He had already been playing golf for 3 yrs and as we all know this game can be frustrating. He said he will give me 6 months, plus 36 strokes and the bet was half a million (hahaha pesos!) I took to the game like fish in water. After my first lesson of one hour with a professional, the next day i insisted on two hours, after about a month i was regularly playing 2-3 rounds of golf and 6 hours driving range after. I still low the sport, its the only one that rewards you on good day, and frustrates you on a bad day. The thrill of that uncertainly, the competition, trying diffrrent shots is what makes it fun for me. PS: after only three months of playing, my bro and i competed, and gross score i beat him by 18 strokes. Damn, he never paid though!
