HIV/AIDS will they ever find a cure?

NASA built a space craft to land on Mars and explore it, which costs around us$500,000,000. The Europeans built a similar craft to land on a moon called Titan for a similar cost. How much is the world spending on HIV/AIDS? Are scientist really looking for a cure?
