Why are you inlove?

What is the reason behind being inlove? Are you really in love with someone or are you just in love with the idea of being in a relationship and having someone to drag along when you found yourself going to the malls or parties alone?

I think that to see love as just being an excuse to not go out alone extremely cynical and negative. I know that a lot of people are in 'relationships' for this reason, but love is not like that at all. My boyfriend and I had been friends for 2 years before becoming a couple a year ago. Before we decided to go out, we spent a lot more time together, going for walks, talking, watching movies, cooking together etc. I was just attracted to everything about him, his personality, intelligence, morals, mind and looks. I think that everyone's idea of love is different, but for me, that's what love is, and that's why I am in love with my boyfriend. =] "True" Love is an absolutely amazing experience that not everybody will find if they look at things the wrong way...
