My kitten has 6 nipples and then another one right below one. Is this normal?

Yes, I have seen plenty myself and I have heard of lots of stories...Its just like a little deformation, not to worry about.

It is normal for animals to have uneven nipples. I have a dog who has an odd number of nipples, if you connected the dots with her nipples it would be a big zig zag, she doesn't have matching nipples on both sides for the most part. It didn't stop her from nursing her pups though, and we don't have to worry anymore since she has been spayed.

Well, I do not know enough about cat anatomy to tell for sure if that is normal or not. It might really be, I wouldn't know. Although, I think if it isn't hurting your kitty, then it is ok for him or her.
