My cats sometimes will sit and watch me. They have their own chairs and god for bid if one sits in the wrong chair. Maggie has starting hissing at Molly.LOL If she walks by her she will now hiss at her. They have never done this before. I think Molly might have said something nasty to Maggie. I stay out of it. I just let them go. Its really none of business.LOL Why do you think they are acting this way?

Your cats are so sweet, i can imagins them seeing you and saying they are being bored as you are not at them but u are just at internet for long. I am thinking like what my husband tells me when he is at home but i am on mylot!!!! So, Molly is asking er for something which might draw your attention from comp to them.

My two cats will do one of two things: either they will completely ignore me and sleep (the preferred option) or they will bug me to play with them when I've been on here too long. If they get really desperate, one of them will jump up on the computer table and start trying to walk on the keyboard. Usually I try and take some time out for fun and games, so they can go back to sleep and I can go back to typing.

They may be trying to find out who's boss. lol Probably neither one of them wants to give in and obey the other, so they just keep fussing. I have cats like that. If you think you have them controlled, they turn right back around and do the same thing. I guess we just have to live with it. lol

How old are your cats Terry? Perhaps this hissing is just a phase they're going through - like kids going through the "terrible two's" tantrums, or stroppy teenagers!? My 6 generaly get on very well together, though Sasha who is the biggest and oldest sometimes feels the need to iss at anyone and everyone just to let them know that he is still the boss! LOL!

Hi rosie they are both 7years old. And she is still doing it. But only Maggie. She is hissing at Molly. She is driving me nuts.

It's a territorial/jealousy thing- my dogs do it all the time...if Buca comes by me when SHammy is near me then SHammy snaps at him. If Buca is next to me then Shammy comes near me Buca makes sure he has no room to climb up on me...LOL

Sometimes I can guess what Morgana is thinking like when she wraps her paws around my ankle, bites it and then runs to the fridge...that is her way of telling me that she wants tuna LOL. When she hops up on my desk and walks in front of my monitor and then just stands there it is her way of telling me she wants me to hold her and pay attention to her LOL. Sometimes, like last night, when she is racing all over the apartment knocking things over and jumping all over I couldn't tell you what was up with her. I chalk it up to she's a cat...you never know whats going through her head. AT PEACE WITHIN

My 18 pound cat likes to make his home in my lap whenever I'm on the computer. He's a heavy bugger and he hates when I move around, upsetting his cat nap.

That is funny, Terry. I do believe that they are trying to get your attention. They want you to spend more time with them and less time on the computer..lol..I think they are in it together, they are conspiring against you for attention. They argue with each other and know that it will get your attention. They are very smart...lol

Hi TerryZ! Your cats are really amusing. I guess, it's because they are smart and know their property like for instance they know who's chair it belongs to and maybe one has threatened the other one not to sit anymore on her chair or she will never ever play with her again. Haha...I am just speculating. Take care and have a nice day!
