I would like to know if anyone here has been diagnosed with brain lesions caused by migraines. In 2003 I had my last MRI of my head and neck(had migraines and neck pain since 1987,unrelated-took yrs. to get it in the dumb dr's. heads it was not a stress headache). I was told the MRI was normal but in 2006 I read my medical record online and learned that my neck pain had to be from the disc bulge(AND fibromyalgia)and that I had 4-5 brain lesions, more than normal for a person my age. NOONE told me this, when I confronted the Drs. they said it was not a big deal and it is normal for a person that gets migraines to get brain lesions.I have tried to find out more info. on these brain lesions but noone has any answers. So what I want to know....anyone know of someone who has brain lesions caused by migraines and any other info.?Am I going to get more? Are they going to get larger? What changes can I expect? I already have memory problems from my fibromyalgia.

I have brain and spine lessions caused from Multiple Sclrosis. I also get a lot of migranes. I have never been told that I have lessions from my migranes though. That sounds strange of course I just found out last week that I have had m.s. since I was a teenager.

I have never heard of this before. This would be interesting to maybe find someone who knows more about Migraines if I were you, and check this out. Sounds quite interesting to me. I know in time I need to discuss my headaches on top of the Diabetic issues, etc I have here but even with Medical Insurance I cannot take on much more Financially right now.

I need a referral from my primary care physician to see a neurologist again. No need for one now since she takes care of my medication now.I'd hate to have a neurologist try to change my meds.(sometimes they thinki they know more than I do,LOL!)I have done a ton of research online at MANY different websites. My Drs. lied to em about even haivng brain lesions,I certainly am not going to believe them again.
