Protesters gathered on a Swiss glacier in a nude formation to call attention to what they perceive as the looming danger of climate change. As far as I know, no carbon offsets were sold and there is no report on the level of emissions from the protesters. Does posing nude on top of a glacier call attention to global warming or does it call attention to crazy nude people on a glacier? Will it raise awareness or just leave them with freezer burn on their backsides? What do you think, is this a silly protest?

Yes, but t1ts and bums always sell papers, always have done, always will do. It's about as mad as thinking that man has any influence on global warming so the stunt makes a nice fit. But that's another storey!!

Good blog Rollo. I especially like - (Note: Power plants are always bad per environmentalists and the words "coal-burning" are equivalent to "puppy-strangling".) haha

Thanks very much for the review. It's nice to know there are other rational people out there when it comes to the big GW scare.

How excellent! At last the protesters have found a way to suffer while they shout their slogans and demand to be heard. Suffering is an indication of commitment to a cause at least - although I'm not sure if it counts when it's self-inflicted. Or maybe it's just a way to attract the attention of public that is becoming bored with the global warming thing now that it's being proved to be just a scare story. What better way to revive interest than getting your clothes off? It does make me wonder what they'll have to do next to keep our attention, however...

It amazes me how some people manage to get paid for doing the stupidest things. Mind you, I'm here in MyLot, aren't I...?
