i got 1/2 carat diamond ring as my anniversary gift today!!!

it's our 1st wedding anniversary today guys and i got a 1/2 carat diamond ring and a bouquet of flowers as a gift from my hubby. it's so wonderful! :) we celebrate our 1styr anniversary today by doing a lot of things that we enjoy doing. it was a happy day! i jst want to post this happy experience before i go to sleep tonight. we got a lot of balloons today also from her mom (my mother in law) that was nice of her, she tied it in our mailbox just this morning and we we're surprise to see it. i attached the pic here.

Happy anniversary to you and your husband. That was a sweet idea your mother-in-law had with the balloons. And of course your hubby's gifts weren't so bad either.
I am still reeling from our 10th anniversary celebrated at the beginning of the month with a ten-diamond anniversary band and a pink sapphire diamond heart necklace, also ten stones.
Don't you wish anniversaries could be celebrated every day of the year? LOL!

Oh Congratulations, how lucky are you, that is a beautiful thing your husband has done for you, he sounds like a loveley man, you really are so lucky to have someone who obviously loves you so very much, you make sure you treasure him and keep him close to you....

Grats on your gift Claire. I'm curious, what did you get your husband? You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I only asked out of curiosity and because I just came from a mylot discussion where a girl was asking for help with her 1st anniversary present.

it's ok. there's no problem i'll answer your question. what i got for him was three things actually. 1st is a suit and tie, 2nd its an NFL steeler's celphone case (he's a fan of pittsburg steelers - a football team) and lastly, i got him an electric rotary shaver cause he shaves almost everyday so i thought it will b very useful rather than having a disposable shaver which is so messy. i can't think of anything else to give him. He likes it a lot so i'm happy.

you are indeed very lucky! you have a husband who loves you very much! and i'm not talking about the amount of his present to you but the care and attention that must have gone into giving this particular gift to you. but then again, he obviously has a very thoughtful mom who loves you too. your marriage is a real celebration of love. keep it up! thank you so much for the best wishes. that's what we also look forward in life, is to grow old together. i told him before we got married that i will only marry once and i don't want divorce. i told him since the day we got married that he's the only man for me and he responded the same thing. he is so faithful also faith210, we're not together for 1year b4 i came over in US, and all he's family and friends say that all he do is talk about me and wait for me until i got here. he always show my picture to everyone even when we were not yet married before, actually, until now he do that. hehehehe. i'm faithful to him too and i love him with all my heart. yes, my mother in law is a very fine and sweet woman. she is very good to me.
