yes,i always wash my hands before taking my meals..especially so when i have to eat out at some restaurant or food bar..at home i can sometimes skip that but by chance only..like when i am very busy a nd my mom brings food to my room or when i am in a hurry...but when i sit with my family to eat i always make it sure to clean my hands...reasons are many like you said protection from germs,the other reason is just like that i wash my hands because its my habit..

Not usually, but I do wash them while I am cooking. I don't usually wash my hands before eating in public unless I have been to the bathroom.

Yes, washing hands is very important, necessary and ofcourse, a good habit! I agree with that completely, and anyways, all it takes is just a minute to go to the washroom or the basin and wash your hands. However, since I have my lunch at school, and we are given hardly ten minutes, we are such a hurry, that we tend to forget washing our hands. How much hard I would try, I am not gonna remember washing hands. When I am at my home, its only me that hardly ever forgets washing before the dinner. So, yes...at home, I always wash, whereas in school, I hardly wash!
