This wekend I and a frend been out to try to get some photos of beaver but its a very shy animal so we only sawe it in the water swiming away, I take some shots of the Beaver lodge so this is one.

Thanks for this. I have never seen a beaver lodge up close before. It looks like the lodges are actually pretty big. Are they?

Hello flight. Yes they are and its only a part of it that you can se most of it is under water.

Very nice picture Matte. I have seen quite a few beavers and their homes when I was growing up. They used to dam up the rivers so my dad had to go and clear a path..

Hello Feona. Yes they do alot od damige in the nature and some dont like to hawe them there.

A good picture for sharing.Actually what does beaver eat for food? Is it fish?. BEAVER;- a large semi-aquatic broad tail rodent, noted for its habit of gnawing through trees to fell them in order to make lodges and dams.

Hello. They dont eat fish they are eating bark from limb and small trees. And they hawe to gnawing all the time to not get to big teeth.
