Do you think the kids should stay with Britney Spears?

Or should the kids be under K-fed's care?
Some tidbits:
* According to TMZ, Britney Spears' lawyer wants to drop Britney as a client.
* In February 2006, photos surfaced that revelaed her driving with her son unrestrained in her lap.
* In February 2007, she entered an off-shore drug rehabilitation facility in Antigua. She stayed however for twenty-four hours.
* The following night, she went to a haircutting studio in California and subsequently shaved her own hair off with clippers.
* A few days later, she admitted herself to a treatment facility in Malibu and left after a month.
As for me, I think she needs to clean up and get off the radar for a while. Somehow I don't think the kids would be better off with K-fed but then again, who knows? I just hope the both of them put the children's best interests in mind.

I know she's a nutcase and all but seriously she's just human. She has emotions, fears and flaws like the rest of us. I'm starting to feel bad for Britney only because I don't think she realizes how disconnected with reality she is. She doesn't need rehab, she needs some major therapy...and she needs to seriously just get off the radar for a while. Just when we think it can't get worse, it always does.

I am with you on that. I believe she needs to spend some time away from the spotlight and just focus on her children. And yeah, she needs a major therapy, not only for herself but also for people who love her especially her children who depend on her.

I think she needs to grow up. She still feels she is foot loose and fancy free. She can't handle the responsibility of those kids. They need to go to someone that will be there for them, they need a good role model. Britney is not a good role model. She is out of control and doesn't know what she needs or wants. She needs to put her kids first and she isn't doing that.

I agree with you. It seems to me that she is more concerned with making a comeback than taking care of the kids (I'm not saying that she doesn't care for the children though but being a responsible parent seems to taking a backseat). However, I don't think the kids are better off with K-fed but at the rate Britney is going now, I won't be surprised if K-fed wins the custody battle.

There is no way that the kids should be under her care. She is a total and complete mess and would not take care of her kids well. The last thing her kids need to say or hear is their mom getting trouble with the law again or doing really sick and stupid things. KFed is not much better but he is more sane than Britney is right now. The children need parents that will love them, take care of them and set a good example for them.

Thank you for your response. Just in case K-fed wins the custody battle, I hope he actually turns out to be a responsible parent for their two children. And the children should be the top priority - not partying.

I am not a fan of Britney Spears. I have to say that some of her behaviors become very weird. But we have no rights to decide whether her kids should stay with her or not. I think at present it is still fine for her children to stay with her. After all, she is their mom and we can not take away her rights. I don't think she will do something harmful for her children.

You have a point. I am not a fan of Britney Spears either but I am quite alarmed at the rate at which she is losing it. I do believe that she loves her children dearly, contrary to some rumors that she regards them as mistakes, but she can't drop partying either. I hope she seeks help for her children's sake.

I think they would be better off in the care of someone totally different. She gave birth but does not seem like a Mom. Her own needs still come first. She seemed too young and immature to have them and seems to put them in dangerous positions. I don't think it is intentional on her part - I think she just doesn't know any better.

I've been wondering of the same thing. If both Britney Spears and K-fed does not seem fit as a parent, then who will take charge and be responsible for the kids? If only Britney wuld reconcile with her mom. Oh well. At least she still has money to pay for nannies. Or else, what could have happened to the kids?

Well, I think as bad as Britney looks sometimes, I think deep down, she could be a good mother and I think she deserves to have her children. No kid should every be without his/her mother in my opinion.
