Question about Rating Responses in the Discussions

I have a question about rating responses. When we are reading a thread, should we rate each response in that thread?

I am unsure of how the Rating thing works on here, and when it is appropriate to do so or not. Maybe somehow someone can tell us when it is appropriate?

if you want you can rate.mostly i will rate posts for the discussions started by me.sometimes or ofcourse rarely i will rate other discussion posts

I rate most all of my responses. In another tread it was reported that the rating can help the earning of the respondant.

I wasnt assure this also but i though that abuse using of rating system is consider against the rules if i not mistaken so i roughly give rate unless it is a good post
