online sales are they for the little people?

I was wondering as an online seller with Oztion, if there is still a growing need for the little "people". With recent fee increases is it worth our while to sell $1 and $2 items ? -when most the profit is eaten by fee's.Granted Oztion isnt as high as Ebay but still every cent counts when selling low cost items..ie scrapbooking and craft supplies.. Or will people start travelling to the shops for there little items. Interested in getting any feedback on this topic,,thanks..
