Why we are here?

Why we are here in this planet? what our purpose in life? they are people today did not no what our purpose in life.

Well this is a very intelligent question. I also wonder why we all are here on this planet. I feel that if we have come to this planet, its to achieve some goal, the goal of life. Well I also beleive in rebirth and Karma philosphy.
