I've been thinking of changing my anti-virus. I also have a 2005 Norton which I haven't used yet. Do you think it is still good?

Norton is a good one, but the only problem is that it eats a lot of memory, thus making computer system slows down tremendously. But if you have enough SDRAM or memory, then you might not experience this one. Maybe, I could suggest that you try some of the free AV products out there. One of it is the Avira AntiVir Classic Edition. You can download this at www.free-av.com. It updates regularly and you can schedule this at your most convenient time. Since using this one, I never had problems at all and I am very much satisfied with it. It is very light on resouces and does not eat a lot of memory. Its primary function and advantages is to provide protection against viruses, worms, and trojans, protection against dialers and phishing, and detects and delete rootkits. Avira has gained several awards. The product combines first-class detection rates and ease of use with a top performance that protects your machine safely. Hope this would help. Have a nice day.

right now the top 3 antivirus are Bitdefender, Kaspersky and NOD32 to those i like Bitdefender... it has a easy to use interface, very strong & reliable and it doesn't eat too much computer system resources unlike Mcafee and Norton antivirus . AVG Pro is also good.
