According to SPARCO there will be complete lunar (Moon) eclipse on 28th August 2007 but only people living in the countries of USA, Iceland, Asutralia, New Zealand and eastern Asia will see it. Similarly, on 11th September 2007 people living in Eastern USA, South Atlantic and Pakistan will see complete Solar (Sun) eclipse from 1025 GMT till 1436 GMT. Have you seen any of them in your life? How did you feel? Is it ok to see them ?

I've seen both and I really enjoy them. As far as I know of, you don't need any special eye protection to watch the moon during a lunar eclipse. There are a few items that can be used for eye protection during a solar eclipse. Definitely research it and find something appropriate if you plan on watching the solar eclipse.

I didn't know a lunar eciplse was due. I live in Australia so maybe I can view this one. I do know that with an eciplse of the sun, we are not supposed to view it directly, you have to use some sort of contraption. It is quite dangerouis otherwise. With a lunar eciplse, I am not so sure? I guess the media will let us know of safe viewing of the moon.

I live in canada and have seen many Lunar Eclipses , but I don`t remember when it was years ago and after that I lost track and don`t watch them due to vision problems cause it causes damage to the eyes , even those glasses they pass around don`t help .... Their 3D glasses and I can`t even use them during a movie or an eclipse ... Have a nice evening ....
