Differant countries..differant styles..

Hey there i have noticed that in differant countries they have a differant style of scrapping..In America they go for a very neater approach to page lay outs ,over in Australia it is all of the page and multi layered.. Has any noticed this? Im very off the page, ribbons and bits sticking out every where..cant close my books..and yes an aussie.. What style of scrapping are you ?? and were abouts are you ?? really interested in finding out if my theory is correct,thanks
