Do You Wanna Learn Chinese?

I would love to learn Chinese someday. One of the many reasons why I want to is because I have a Filipino-Chinese boyfriend and I would really want to know what his family think of me. They speak Chinese at home. My relatives also speak Chinese and I hate feeling out of place in their conversation. I have been trying to study using audio tapes and such but its so difficult, until now the only words I know are the basic greetings and counting. If I have money I would love to spend some on learning the language of my grandmother.

I think Chinese language is difficult to learn .
