I'm new to this site, new to earning money just using the internet. I'm curious as to how many messages do you write in one day? how much do you earn in a month? After awhile is it really the money you are after or because the site posts comments and discussions and you're the type that enjoys doing such? How do you maximize your earnings? Do you lose sleep because you want to keep posting?

Welcome to mylot! Sunshinecup has said it all, she is right. Recently I have noticed that the pay rate has changed. So a couple of months ago I would post about 10 responses a day and receive about 20 cents for them. Now I only receive about 3 cents.I only earn about $2 a month. After awhile it isn't about money, its just about helping people by giving advice and your opinion. When I first started I did lose a little bit of sleep but now I don't. But in order to maximize your earnings just keep on posting quality discussions and respones and aslo upload a photo to your discussions. Good luck and happy mylotting!

Well we each earn a different amount for our work. It depends on many factors, how well your posts are rated, how often you post, and how many of your posts are deleted for violations and other things. So why I could tell you what I make, how much I post, it wouldn’t do you much good, cause it doesn't mean it will be the same for you. I will say Mylot pays, it's not a living, but it's a few pennies for your time here. The whole concept of Mylot is a forum first and foremost, where you get a penny or two for your time, but not to get rich off it. Now how to make the most for your time here is simple read the guidelines and post according to them. There is a "Do's and Don'ts" section that tell us exactly what it takes to be successful. You can find this located at the bottom of any page, in blue listed as "guidelines." Oh and … ? ? ? WELCOME TO MYLOT! ? ? ? If you are one that loves making friends and talking your head off about endless amounts of topics, you will love it here. Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions. Seems to me you post a lot and based on this response you post very well. I actually have not read the guidelines, heehe, guess i should. There are just so many "earn by doing something online' makes me wonder which ones are worth it. So far, I'm enjoying it here because I do enjoy intellectual discussions as well as just having fun finding out what people find interesting.

Actually, I started out with this whole thing because I was bored one evening when i could not sleep, and I just decided to give it a shot with no real intention to stay. It was curiosity that got the better of me. So, i didn't bother reading guidelines or such. So far it looks like I haven't done anything yet that broke any rules (crossed fingers), hahaha guess I will know once I read the guidelines whether I have already committed a mistake :) right now am still engrossed in the whole concept. I enjoy intellectual conversations and I'm actually finding it here. people seem to really be serious in sharing their opinions even when the topic is very fun natured. let's see which will come first, my getting bored or my reading the guidelines :)

Congrats you have joined a good site which actually pays. As far as icreasing earnings are concerned i would state that this is not a easy game. You are infact going to earn not too much here. One needs to work hard and answer well. I mean dont give one line answers take up those discussions where you have interest and knowlege of the topic and do tag them. Start meaningful discussions which inturn get some good responses. I think this would make your day.

well there are days when i write 30 messages or more but are also days when writing just 4 or 5 depends on the time i can spend here.the last 2 days i post so less that yesterday i got only 6 cents but some days i got 45 cents,36 cents etc.my first period here i wasn't so active but this month until this moment i earn 3,40$ in 20 days so depends so much on how many time spending there.depends also on the quality of yuor essages to earn more.so if you right very short mesages just for increasing the number of posts you won't earn for them.good luck here and happy mylotting!

I waver. Some days I post a lot, and other days I don't post very much, or at all. I really don't make a lot of money doing this, but in my present financial situation, every penny can help. I do enjoy posting comments and starting new discussions - I think it's the same part of me that likes to talk a lot. So it's a good thing. I don't really work at maximizing my earnings. I suppose I could by trying to get referrals and such. But I prefer to just keep trying rather than try to get other people to sign up, which may or may not work. I think I earn about 1 cent per post, which is really not very much, especially when you consider it as an hourly rate. But I can do this for just a little while each day, and it will add up over the months.

I have spent some time looking for ways to make money on the net too. I am not getting rich quick but I am making extra cash. I have found a few good sites. I will be glad to share this info with anyone that wants it. Send me an email to suebellina@gmail.com and I will send you what I have learned so far.
